Loading...A licensed practical nurse (LPN) or licensed vocational nurse offers care to injured, sick or disabled patient under the supervision and direction of registered nurse or physician.
The basic duty of LPN is to measuring patient’s temperature, blood pressure, administer glucose, injection, treat bed sores, assist patients with bathing, exercising, and movement through stretcher or wheelchair, apply dressing and give medications. They also perform clerical functions in physician’s office.
Requirements of LPN License
It is necessary that one has to complete an LPN accredited program and pass the NCLEX-PN exam to get the license. Any individual planning to get enrolled in this program should posse high school diploma or its equivalent certificate.
